Head of the school

Isabelle Leblanc graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She received her Bachelor of Education from Laurentian University and obtained a post graduate diploma from the University of Western Ontario in Public Relations. She WAS formerly a Vice Principal at Conseil scolaire catholique Providence. In her previous role as a school board educational consultant, Isabelle helped schools implement successful teaching practices that focus on helping students become Global citizens. Isabelle has successful experience in both communications and strategic planning roles. She also specializes in educational neurosciences, strategies for learning a second language as well as facilitating and fostering an inclusive environment that provides deep and meaningful learning for students. 

Of her appointment, Isabelle said "I’m deeply honoured to be joining the Globeducate family as Head of School at the Canadian School of Florence. It is an exciting time for the entire school community and the planned expansion project. I was delighted when I visited the school in March and met many members of the school community including students, parents and future colleagues. I look forward to joining this growing and dynamic team and building off of its past successes".
