Iacopo Fornai

Iacopo was born in Florence and holds a degree in Sports Science from The University of Florence with several other sports certificates, including Brain Gym, tennis, and fitness instruction. He is also a trained leader of the Duke of Edinburgh program and has been with the Canadian School of Florence since January 2018, working in Physical Education at the Senior School, and at the Junior School from 2021-2022, before becoming the CSF Vice Principal in 2022. Before working at the Canadian School of Florence, Iacopo taught Physical Education at the International School of Florence, coordinating extracurricular activities and coaching the girl's varsity soccer team. He is part of the CSF Senior Leadership Team with an additional role of Student Life Coordinator planning co-curricular activities across campuses and organizing sports and other events that promote well-being throughout the school. Iacopo also arranges sporting opportunities for students in the Florence community and in his spare time, he enjoys going to the football stadium, working out at the gym, walking his dog, reading, and travelling to new places.
