Discover more details about the Ontario Canadian Curriculum...

At the Canadian School of Florence, we teach the globally recognized Ontario Canadian Curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 12. This prestigious curriculum has helped us obtain our Italian Paritaria school accreditation from the Italian Ministry of Education at both our Junior and Middle School campuses, an honor that we will soon have at our Senior School as well.

Our Kindergarten program, for kids age 3 to 5 years, benefits from the same student-centered curriculum. At all of our campuses, our teachers implement this curriculum while prioritizing other international educational practices and standards.

We are happy to boast that our Senior School graduates have moved on to some of the highest-ranking universities around the world - including Italy - and have been well-prepared for that transition, thanks to the skills they had acquired at CSF.

We believe the primary purpose of assessment and evaluation is to improve student learning. Thanks to the principles of "Growing Success", we teach with the goal of preparing the 'whole child' to achieve, based on his or her interests, abilities, and personal goals.

Our total-immersion English language teaching allows students to master both 21st century skills (creative and critical thinking, collaboration, communication, problem solving, self regulation) while contributing to the development of their cognitive, emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.

Our teaching philosophy is to help students discover who they are as learners and to develop the strategies that aid them in reaching their full potential
