Celebrating Cultures Without Borders: CSF Multicultural Day 2025

On May 28, the Fiesole 2 campus of the Canadian School of Florence came alive with color, rhythm, and flavor during our 2025 Multicultural Day—a celebration that knows no boundaries! Our entire international community gathered to honor the vibrant diversity that makes CSF such a special place to learn and grow.

Families, students, and staff shared in a joyful display of cultural pride and global unity. The event featured a delicious journey around the world with food from more than ten different countries, each dish lovingly prepared and shared to showcase the tastes and traditions of our school’s diverse backgrounds.

A highlight of the day was the student performance inspired by “Toys Around the World.” With creativity and heart, our students brought to life stories and characters from global play traditions, reminding us all how childhood joy connects us beyond language and borders.

We were honored to welcome distinguished guests, including the Mayor of Fiesole, Cristina Scaletti, Padre Aldo Tarquini of the Church of San Domenico, and the Misericordia di Fiesole, whose presence reflected the strong bond between CSF and our local community. Their words of support and encouragement echoed the values we celebrate every day.

The grand finale was a vibrant Flamenco and Pizzica dancing show that brought the entire campus to its feet! The lively music and spirited performances captured the joyful energy of the day and highlighted the beauty of cultural exchange through art and movement.
