In Ms. Amanda's class the Grade 6s did a simple circuit lab in science where students put theories into practice to see how circuits and electricity works, right before their eyes.

Instead, in Math, students had a choice between designing a backyard or an event on a budget and then had to present their idea justifying their budget choices and exercising their knowledge of measurements and perimeters to create a floor plan on graph paper for their project.

We have some smart future accountants and architects among us!
